These terms cover your use of the Pangolin Pages website and app. By using it, you agree to them.
The service
Pangolin Pages is a free tool that helps you discover books connected to travel destinations, save them, and track what you've read. It is provided by Nomad Latitudes Limited.
No charge, and we're not the seller
We don't charge for the app and we don't sell books. Buy and Read links take you to independent third-party shops; any purchase, payment, delivery, or return is solely between you and that shop, under their terms. Some links are affiliate links: Nomad Latitudes Limited participates in the Amazon Associates programme and may earn a commission on qualifying Amazon purchases, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence which books we recommend.
Content and accuracy
Curated book descriptions are our own editorial summaries. Larger result lists, cover images, and some data come from the Open Library and other third parties, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Guidebook and cookbook suggestions point you to real book series via search; specific editions and availability vary. We provide all of this "as is" and don't guarantee it's error-free.
Acceptable use
- Use the app lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer it.
- Community reviews you submit must be your own and must not be unlawful, hateful, infringing, or spam. You're responsible for what you post, it may be visible to others, and we may remove content at our discretion.
Intellectual property
The Pangolin Pages name, logo, design, and original text are owned by Nomad Latitudes Limited. Book titles, cover images, author names, and shop and series names (e.g. Lonely Planet, Culture Smart!, Atlas Obscura) belong to their respective owners and are referenced for identification only.
Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nomad Latitudes Limited is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, from third-party sites you reach through it, or from reliance on any information it presents. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes & termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
Nomad Latitudes Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17286397), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law gives you other rights.
